Removing the"Suggested" List in Teams Chat

The setting DOES NOT WORK. In the developer world, this is called a defect...bug...ERROR. This needs to be fixed ASAP. The suggested list is interfering when typing names for search. This is unacceptable and the dumbest, moronic thing done. Do your offshore coders even understand how to code or does your quality assurance team just not care.

Seriously, why is this a thing? It's suggesting the most random people who have nothing to do with my business. Do the clowns that implement these platforms even use it? If I were a betting man I'd say no. Get it together MS...this **** is embarrassing. Or better yet, how about giving your paying customers the option to use this pointless feature or not. What a concept!

It's awful! I'll click on an established chat with a coworker and start typing, and it will randomly take my message and put it in a new chat window with a suggested contact outside of my organization. I don't ever want to chat with anyone outside of my organization, and it shouldn't even be an option. Not to mention the frustration of having to delete that and go back to the chat I intended the message to be for. Fix this Microsoft!

Well, let's hope they come up with some kind of fix before the forced switch, otherwise you can enjoy it for a whopping 2 weeks. :-(

Not ideal, but I switched back to Teams Classic to get rid of the suggested chats list. Fixed until the 1st of July when Microsoft forces us to switch. Great efficiency booster to have a list of random people to chat with.
