Microsoft Teams File Upload Doesn't Have Replace File Option

There is an easy work around for this and that is you guys PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS AND QUIT F*KING WITH THE PROGRAM!!!!

This ability has caused so much hassle and problems for my Team and I!!!

We use it to send drawings back and forth and need that 'replace' feature to ensure that minor fixes that don't require a revision get transferred.

Honestly it wasn't broke before but now you did. Just undo whatever code you used to BREAK the software in the first place.

This was a mistake though clearly - the option to overwrite a file is essential

According to your description, I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the file upload feature in Microsoft Teams. Currently, there is no option to revert the settings back to the previous behavior of allowing you to replace an existing file with a new version.

This is a recent change that was made to improve the security and integrity of files in Teams.

Please add and option back in to be able to over write a file. We don't need multiple versions of the file we are uploading when revisions are made. We only want to keep the most current.

I would really like to know what the person who made that change to teams was thinking of. If I want to upload a new file and keep the old one I give it a new name. I don't need teams to do that for me. If I upload a file with the same name its because the old one is no longer relevant and I want it to be overwriten.

This is really really stupid....
