Teams will not recognise Bluetooth headphones when joining calls.
I have tried restarting, clearing cache, clearing storage and reinstalling. I have tried multiple different models of headphones from completely different manufacturers. I have tried different phones.
This is not a user issue. This is an issue with the application. Several posts have been made.
Please fix it.
EDIT: the 'Nearby Devices' permission will fix this issue in most cases. For me, it worked temporarily (for one call) and then reverted to the same issue. However, the issue does now seem to be fixed - I have had consistent success for about 2 months now. I am assuming that a recent update to the app has fixed an issue that was causing this.

I had the same problem, and I noticed it was because of the permission setting of TEAMS.
I reinstalled Teams and accepted the "Nearby devices." access and it works now.

I have the same issue that was described by Chris.
Around the similar timeframe, my MS Teams no longer has an option for bluetooth when selecting the speaker/audio output. This has been independent of the device my phone (Google Pixel 3) is connected to. This has occurred when connected to my car bluetooth or my head set (Samsung Buds Pro). Please note that approximately 7 days ago, MS Teams did give the option to connect to a bluetooth audio device, but now the choices when you press the audio choices: Device (which would be my phone), Speaker, or Mute.
I have tested this on my business cell phone (Samsung S22+) and works fine. Even tried calling my other phone and when looking side by side, the audio choices on the Samsung S22+ are: Device, Bluetooth, Speaker or Mute.
Versions of MS Teams are the same on both devices.
I have the same issue on my samsung note10+.
Bluetooth as an option has disappeared from my phone in Microsoft Teams in the last week or so.
Further even when using my device without bluetooth - it doesn't work and I can hear the conversation, but I cannot join in.
Terrible when I'm on the road and I don't want to try to be typing into the chat!
I am having the same issue with Samsung Galaxy S22+ Andorid cell and the MS Teams app. Used to have Bluetooth connection option available but until recently, it has disappeared. I am using 3 different types of Bluetooth headsets (Bose, Samsung Buds, Skull Candy), and as the original poster mentioned, the issue does not occur on iOS. It's really frustrating and hoping MS will resolve this and/or provide feedback.
Yes, exactly the same issue with every poster here! The Bluetooth option on the Android Teams app disappeared with the recent update. It doesn't matter what Bluetooth devices are connected to the phone... No show on Teams. Every other app on my Samsung works flawlessly with the same Bluetooth devices. Teams on MacBook Pro works fine with the same Bluetooth devices too. The problem is the Android app, or at the least, a compatibility issue with the Android OS or Samsung phone. I would expect better on an enterprise platform.
