Hi,
So I've had a similar problem although mine was less severe. I have my overall volume set to 8 on my Windows 11 computer and every time I entered a call, it got set to 20. I tried a bunch of solutions I found here but what finally worked for me was :
- disabling the "Sync device buttons" option in Settings/Devices (not sure it was necessary but you never know)
- updating Teams to the latest version and closed it (you can see if you have the latest version in Settings/About Teams. About Teams is at the bottom left of the Settings page)
- then I went into my computer settings, into Applications, Installed Applications (first item of the list), found Microsoft Teams, clicked on the 3 dots, Advanced options, scrolled down to a "Reset" and "Repair" button, clicked on "Repair", then "Reset". It warned me that it could disconnect me or something but it didn't
After all this, my volume stopped going up every time I joined a call. It might just be that you need to update Teams to the latest version because I enabled "Sync devices buttons" afterward and it didn't increase my volume.
For those of you who can, I think you should really think about ditching Teams and use something else like Google Meet or Slack. I've never had any problems with either of those two unlike Teams. I've also noticed that using the web version of Teams (not the app) gives me less problems and bugs.
