Contacts tab missing in new Teams

Hi

I installed the new Teams and now I can't find my contacts list.

When I am in the call menu, there was a tab with all my contacts. This is now missing.

Please see the attached image.

    Hi, thanks but the People app is more like an address book and doesn't have the features of the original Contacts functionality. Additionally, when i tried to use it it kept disappearing i.e. it wouldn't stay pinned and I had to keep finding it from the App list.

    I'd like to know whether Microsoft ever asks anyone about what features they use before they get rid of them, as this particular decision is an epic fail.

    Hello,

    The Contacts tab in the New Teams was moved over to the right side of the screen.

    In addition, you can view your contacts by selecting "More apps" and selecting the People app.

    I hope this helps.

    Or you can just switch back to Teams Classic and enjoy full functionality!

    There are several important features missing in this "fresher, faster" Teams.

    The Contacts drop down in the Chat is one of them.

    The option for a second ringer when using a headset is another.

    My organisation tried the new Teams for half a day and have all switched back to the Classic version

    Hey,

    I had a lot of very important external contacts that were tracked through that "Contacts" App.
    Are you able to assist with recovering these contacts for me?????

    It's absurd that Microsoft would do this without any warning or option to extract these contacts.
