Hi

I installed the new Teams and now I can't find my contacts list.

When I am in the call menu, there was a tab with all my contacts. This is now missing.

I'm going to ask those here - is there a way to pin "people"? As soon as I click on chat, it disappears. I actually like the new category setup, and have been splitting up my categories and putting people in multiple categories, which can be shown is the matrix.

My problem is that I cannot pin it, and that - of course - the inability to see status.

Is the first problem universal, or is the issue the local settings?

Unfortunately I did what others have done.... back to the old version of Teams.

I used the Contacts list, like others do/did, to see who's online.... In my case, I could see who on my team was online just by looking at the status, which is not available in the new Teams. VERY INCONVENIENT, Microsoft.

I agree. Unfortunately, as of now, you no longer have a choice and must use the new teams. Very bad decision.

Why did Microsoft remove a basic option like this...? This proves that application makers don't really use Teams...

I'm going to run it with the old version as long as it's available... or the contact option comes back.

    Really disappointed...
