I'd like to group chats together, not people.
I know this has been asked before, but the solution provided is not working anymore.
I get both personal chat messages and group chats chat messages from several hundred people and would like to categorize them to find, e.g. all messages from a certain group. I found that I can make Contact Groups, which means I can group several contacts into one group, but I cannot add "group chats" to such a contact group. How do I do this? thanks.

A similar problem. I have many different chats with various colleagues. It would be convenient to have the ability to group them into folders or categories.
I'd like to second this request. I cannot find the functionality to label chats with different colors, nor do I understand what is meant by external folders. Exporting and savings in folders doesn't seem efficient, as any new comments and edits would not update.
the problem with pinning chats, is that Teams sets a very unusable limit of 15 pinned chats..
What we would be far more helpful is being able to create a master chat group, and pull individual chat over the same topics into that group... then maybe the ability to pin those 'Groups' would be more useful... because you can always just put more chats into the grouping that way... Teams is very unusable in a busy organization with multiple projects
This feature to give more option of grouping chats then Pin vs Unpin and enable to create own groups and allows to pin chats under self defined groups will be massive steps to increase productivity during works with MS Teams.
Looking forward to see this feature on roadmap :)
