I am not able to copy and paste Teams message with Time and sender name. I was able to do it a week ago. I want to copy text with time and sender name. same issue on both Desktop and web version

    I tried it. First, it is through the Microsoft store so you may not need approval to get it installed. I didn't and we have a strict policy on extras. Second, it doesn't work very well. It made some odd translations for some of the text and if others are "reacting to chats with emojis it really gets funky. Microsoft just needs to act and fix this for the majority who want it instead of the minority who don't.

    Thank you. You rock for sharing all of that. That sounds like more work than I do just typing out the missing information myself. I may give it a try, but the big issue for me with this work around is selecting and copying all. I am constantly having different conversations with the same people and it is all in the same chat. Even if I start a new conversation, Teams adds it to the existing chat with past conversations. So having to strip out all of the old stuff in many cases would be more work than what I have to do now -- typing in what I can no longer copy from Teams. :(

    The old teams still has the working copy and paste with timestamps. At least for me it says it only has 28 days of life left so this is only a short term solution.
