Banner in New Teams Desktop “! Please sign in again. This could be a request from your IT department or Teams, or the result of a password update.” - Is this real??

User received this error when opening New Teams.

Password is not new

Windows 11

New Teams Desktop App

(the banner was pink background with Black text and appeared to be generated by Teams)

If this is official; the wording is bad and I would like to change it. There is no documentation on MSFT for this error or its likeness.

    Found this off a reddit post, worked for me,

    1, close all Office software, in the "Start Menu" in the search "Command Prompt" (or "cmd"), and the right mouse button click and select "Run as administrator"; 

    2, in the command prompt enter the following code: 

    cd %programfiles% \Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun  
Enter; 

3, and then enter  

Officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.17531.20120

    I struggled with this for months and I have been using Windows for 30 years. I finally figured it out and here is what helped. It was working on my laptop and not on my desktop. I figured out it was related to Office. When I finally signed out of Office and then signed back in on the Desktop, it has worked since then. I posted something previous that fixed it temporarily but did not work after a while. This should be it everyone!
