Banner in New Teams Desktop “! Please sign in again. This could be a request from your IT department or Teams, or the result of a password update.” - Is this real??
User received this error when opening New Teams.
Password is not new
Windows 11
New Teams Desktop App
(the banner was pink background with Black text and appeared to be generated by Teams)
If this is official; the wording is bad and I would like to change it. There is no documentation on MSFT for this error or its likeness.

When I run that command I get a popup stating it is looking for updates.
Then, after about 10 seconds I get this error:
Something went wrong
We're sorry, we ran into a problem while looking for updates.
Please check your network connection and try again later.
Go online for additional help.
Error Code: 30183-27(400)
To make it clear; I'm running Teams in my Firefox browser. I don't use the 'new' Teams on the desktop anymore. The 'classic' version worked great, but the 'new' version is just terrible.

2024-08-15T09:42:17+00:00 This is really problematic. Because I run Teams in a browser tab, I don't always notice that I am offline all of a sudden.
In the last few weeks I've had multiple times that I had missed calls, with other people thinking I was offline.
It seems to occur approximately every 24 hours.

2024-07-15T13:04:17+00:00 I got the message again this morning. It sure looks like the new standard "log in again because it's been a while" message, but Microsoft apparently won't communicate the change to the people who manage their software.
