It seems Teams cannot end the call on my Jabra Evolve 75 headset appropriately. The Teams call is ended but the headset is left as if still in a call in mono mode.

Hi Flemming,

I'm sorry to hear that you're have issues with your Jabra whenever you end calls. First, let's make sure that the user's Teams app cache files are not corrupted. Please follow the steps below according to your operating system.

Clear Teams cache in Windows

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.

In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.

Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.

Restart Teams.

Clear Teams cache in macOS

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

Enter the following command, and then press Return:

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

Restart Teams.

This usually fixes these types of issues but if not, you'll have to make sure that the proper drivers for your Jabra 75 are installed in your PC. You may download it from here.

    Hi Alvaro,

Unfortunately the problem reocurred today, so it seems there is a bug in MS Teams. It can apparently temporarily be solved by clearing the folder mentioned, but I'm afraid it was not really a solution.

The result is that after a MS teams call this morning my Jabra Link 370 adapter now stays in call mode (red light) as well a the Jabra Evvolve 75 headset (with red ligths on) even though the Teams call was ended.

    Best regards

    Flemming

I am having the same problem using my Jabra Evolve2 65 w/ Link 380 on my MacBook Pro (Ventura 13.1). I tried removing the cache as recommended, but it didn't fix the issue. A few other notes:

    • This only seems to happen when I join a meeting. If I do "Meet now" or a direct call, it disconnects as expected and goes back to standby mode (purple LED).
    • I reached out Jabra support who had me reset the headset, but this did not resolve the issue.
    • I did recently upgrade to Ventura, but not sure if that is related or not.
    • Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.364.

The workaround I have to use is: (1) exit Teams, (2) Disconnect/Reconnect Link 380, and (3) restart Teams. This clears the active call mode, but is not something that works well when you have back-to-back calls.

At my organisation we are having this issue, but not just with Jabra equipment. It started this week for most people with the issue and is temporarily resolved by closing Teams completely and then re-opening it.
