It seems Teams cannot end the call on my Jabra Evolve 75 headset appropriately. The Teams call is ended but the headset is left as if still in a call in mono mode.

Hi Flemming,

I'm sorry to hear that you're have issues with your Jabra whenever you end calls. First, let's make sure that the user's Teams app cache files are not corrupted. Please follow the steps below according to your operating system.

Clear Teams cache in Windows

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.

In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.

Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.

Restart Teams.

Clear Teams cache in macOS

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

Enter the following command, and then press Return:

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

Restart Teams.

This usually fixes these types of issues but if not, you'll have to make sure that the proper drivers for your Jabra 75 are installed in your PC. You may download it from here.

    Dear all,

we still have the same problem with Blackwire 52xx Headsets and Jabra Hands-Free devices, so this cannot be a Problem of the Audio Devices.

Thank you Tim. That makes the picturer clearer.

So its more obvious Microsoft screwed the Callcontrol or whatever on the latest Teams App (1.6.00.376 ).

We can only exchange information here but Microsoft is not involved yet with any official person.

    @Michael B Langton

Microsoft is to blame because all devices operated ok without issues up to now. The only thing which changed for the most part, is Microsoft pushing their client updates to the masses in waves. Jabra devices havent changed with any firmware recently except the Engage series which fixed the incoming call issue due to an old Lync implementation in their code which was being triggered by Teams suddenly which was not the case as Teams and Engage devices operated without flaws for a long long time.

    Hi George,

One non-Jabra device with the issue is a Plantronics Blackwire 3220 Series USB headset.

    Hi,

Don't know if it is teams or Jabra who is to blame here.

For some reason i cannot post pictures here. But it seems to work if you disable Softphone Integration in the Jabra Direct application. You will not be able to control teams from the headset after that though.

Do the below steps. If the device is locked in a call you might have to restart your computer before you do this, and also do it before you start teams.

    1. Open the Jabra Direct application
    2. Click on you Jabra Link USB device
    3. Click on settings
    4. Click on the tab "Softphone (PC)
    5. Disable Sofphone Integration
    6. Click Save and let the device restart

    BR

    Michael
