It seems Teams cannot end the call on my Jabra Evolve 75 headset appropriately. The Teams call is ended but the headset is left as if still in a call in mono mode.

Hi Flemming,

I'm sorry to hear that you're have issues with your Jabra whenever you end calls. First, let's make sure that the user's Teams app cache files are not corrupted. Please follow the steps below according to your operating system.

Clear Teams cache in Windows

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.

Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.

In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.

Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.

Restart Teams.

Clear Teams cache in macOS

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

Enter the following command, and then press Return:

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

Restart Teams.

This usually fixes these types of issues but if not, you'll have to make sure that the proper drivers for your Jabra 75 are installed in your PC. You may download it from here.

    Hello all,

    we are facing this issue starting this week as well. Just right now I was affected as well. Terminating Teams does not cut the communication to the device. Clearing Teams cache and restarting the app solved this.

    We are mainly using Jabra Evolve and Engage Headsets. Our customer has a large installed base with Engage 75s and it is a severe annoying problem for them.

    First there was the issue with incoming calls resetting the base which was being fixed on Jabras side with an update. The persisting calls after hangup or leaving a meeting has been identified as a problem resulting from Teams which Microsoft would work on. Now its even getting worse as if something was pushed out recently in the Teams app.

    @TimJButterworth

    Could you please explain in detail which devices, except Jabra, are as well affected by this issue on your side?

    @Microsoft

    You really need to fix this issue ASAP. There seems to be a hickup with HID commands "getting stuck". It cant be a single phenomenon when the reports are increasing for this matter.

    I have a quicker workaround if you do not want to keep clearing the cache or exiting teams and disconnecting the headphones (which sometimes even doesn't help in my case, because the "on-call" state is probably persisted somewhere.

    Just initiate any call and then hang up. If that does not help, try it more times. I have a special private channel in my Teams for this, and each time this happens I just start a new "Meet" and end it immediately. This resolves it for me easily and costs me approx. 5s of my time.

    Hi everyone,

    just wanted to add that we are experiencing the same issue with our Jabra 75. Clearing the cache helped temporarily as does doing a test call to end the stuck call mode. However, this is not a real solution.

    It worked for one call, and after that the issue came back.
    Anyone got an other solution?
