[Fix found!] Bluetooth headphones not working in MS Teams after Windows 11 upgrade

Other ideas online failed, but this works! I was having the hardest time trying to get my Bluetooth headphones (bose 700) to work after my company updated me to Windows 11 on my Dell 5550 laptop. I manually tried updating the Intel Bluetooth and WiFi Drivers from Intel's website. that didn't help. I knew a few others seeing this problem on their own PCs as well. Our headphones would work in browsers, apps in windows 11, but not in MS Teams. We tried many other options until one fixed it... So here it is. Does this work for others as well?

I first go into Bluetooth and Devices

Then click on View more devices

Then scroll down and click on More Devices and Printer Settings.

Then I right click on my headphones icon and go to Properties

Then go to the Services tab and Uncheck the Handsfree Telephony option.

After unchecking this, my headphones work in MS Teams!!

I was taking another look to this problem and found a message in some realtek devices: "configuration could not be migrated"
Just removed the drivers for all the devices I found in that state, turn off the laptop and turned it on pressing the "on" button for some seconds (sb told me that if you do that laptop bios resets devices status).
Right now seems to be working as it worked in W10: 20 mins meeting with very few audio problems (some noise sometimes).
We'll see, but maybe the problem is a configuration migration problem?

I also disabled audio enhancements and reduce audio format to DVD quality.

    Could this be true?

Windows 11 Bluetooth Low Audio Quality - No Hand-free or Stereo option FIX : r/Windows11 (reddit.com)

Several bluetooth headsets use 2 separate drivers/services for either just audio or handsfree calling. Windows 11 has eliminated the options for which one of these drivers you’ll be using. This causes the handsfree calling to always be active, making the bandwidth for sound to be shared with your microphones audio, resulting in low audio quality.

Until Microsoft fixes this the way to fix it is

1: Go to the old sound device manager (can be found at the bottom of the new options)
2: Go to recording and disconnect or disable your headphone's microphone
3: Go to playback, if your headphones are still connected on this tab go to step 5
4: Wait until your headphones reconnect (Should be automatic, takes about 10 seconds)
5: If your audio still isn’t working disable and reenable the playback device

Well that’s all, your headphones should be working now
