Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

As with all othe users of Teams, I agree that this is unacceptable. Teams is not a 'consumer game' app, it is a 'business' user app where users of the product are trying to do their work effectively. We pay for Teams and these popups are as annoying as constant advertisement popup for which browsers have the feature to block popups. We do not need tips that we can 'resize windows', a feature we've been aware of for over 20 years. I cannot imagine what individual thought this would be a good idea.

"They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled" - How about just let us disable new features then? MS used to be about productivity instead of advertising, it's pretty spiteful to make every end user of a MS app fight through your ads every day. You guys are making Slack look like a superior option, and that is not a good look. Hell, even Google Chat is less intrusive. Anyway, here I am wasting time complaining about the time your team makes me waste. Is there a number I can call in to more directly waste some of your time?

How do I "Report abuse" by Microsoft for their complete failure to fix this "feature" that has been going on for an obnoxiously long time? Just put a button in the settings that allows users to "Turn off feature notifications"! It's not rocket science. Even Apple has that button.

MS, annoying your users, blocking work, making them spend time looking in notifications for a way to turn off pop-up tips, then not finding it, googling it only to find this thread saying it's impossible to turn the pop-up tips off, is not going to endear them to your product. I don't read them and it doesn't look like anyone else does either and what you have is a group of highly irritated users looking at your competition. They may not be able to change at work due to company IT but most have computers at home...you get the point. Do what other programs do and throw a video of changes out there and let people find it if they want because, honestly, I will avoid Teams just because of the unread pop-up tips and the fact you won't do anything about it.

For what it's worth (and I know Microsoft doesn't give a damn about individual users), I hate Teams. Hate it with a passion. It is NOT a production tool, it's a farce. The constant messaging, nagging, pop-ups, "aren't we great" messages ... y'all need a shrink if you need this much continual praise.

The "new" Teams, which I briefly looked at before having my eyes replaced, is a grey wash-out of dullness. And what's with constantly making the interface font smaller? Give us a break!

I want three things from software: robustness, reliability, and security. Can't say I've found those things yet.
