Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

I agree. It seems they develop software in all parts of the world an never communicate on who is doing what. Then they throw it all against a wall and hope it works after already moving on to the next debacle.

Take the admin portals.. Admin, Entra, Intune, Edu, Room, etc. They all can do about the same. It could be such a great product.

Half the time I wonder if these children in their mom's basement playing video games all day instead of actually making decent code for Mushysoft, don't do it just to frustrate us. Or, maybe they are getting paid off by the ChiComs and there's spyware added too? Who knows - Mushysoft has been miserable for years now and only seems to be getting worse.

I agree with other users. Disable this new feature/teachcallouts or whatever by default. Let the user decide if they want to see all those anoying popups. I really love working with Microsoft stuff but these popups are really bad. Also I work for many clients and I get all the anoying popups on all my clients environments as well. This is to much.

Cookie notices ask for permission to store data on your computer. As cookies are abused for tracking visitors and thereby generating profitable behaviour data, the law requiring cookie notices is an annoyance to those who want to profit from this abuse of an useful idea, So they make the cookie banners as useless and annoying as they can, but that is not required by the law. Neither does any law require the usage of cookies at all, you can build useful and beautiful websites without them -- even web shops. So the law requiring websites to ask before storing cookies should definitely stay. Cookie notices can be easily reduced by not using cookies unless really required for a website to work.

Need a global opt out standard for:

• Tips
• Release notes
• New feature announcements
• Feedback requests
• Cookie notices <-- required by law? Maybe it's time to change the law.

If you are a developer, reconsider these features and push back on your product owner / scrum master to find better ways to inflate their ego or sense of accomplishment.
