New Teams: Camera Settings Gone

Hello

Under Teams Classic - there used to be a number of camera settings under Settings > Devices > Camera such as Zoom/Pan/Tilt. Those settings no longer appear, to my knowledge, in New Teams. Am I missing something or did this feature not carry over?

Also, the webcam I am using, a Poly P5, has local software installed but those zoom/pan/tilt settings have never carried over to Teams (Classic or New).

Any advice? Did this feature disappear forever or am I missing where it is?

My face is so bright from the glare of my screen that you cannot see my face features. I have tried moving the camera (external) but still glare. Tried all the available setting and whilst you can click on Adjust Brightness, nothing happens. I have now had to set Teams and Zoom background to Dark to try to avoid glare. Bring back the sliding adjustment so that people can see who I am and not a moon for a face!

Thanks for the information. I am currently using old teams because I really do need to have zoom feature, and I like the exposure/brightness etc control as well. I can't install FFMPEG or have that done for me with my org, as its more locked down, so I really do benefit a lot from the device settings options. Well, not just benefit, but frankly *need* given my office space, and the way it helps me to be much more professionally presented with more control.

Install FFMPEG and follow these instructions: https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/access-advanced-settings-for-the-integrated-webcam-on-windows-10/

basically, from the bin folder in ffmpeg, just run the following command from cmd:

    ffmpeg -f dshow -show_video_device_dialog true -i video="NAME-OF-WEBCAM"

Set up a bat file so that you can run the command from a shortcut, and then it is always just a double click away!

I was having the exact same problems as all other comments. Logitech camera, used Device Options daily to fix zoom. New Teams missing the option. I was able to download/extract ffmpeg on my office PC (no "install" necessary), and run the commands in a command prompt to get the same settings window to open while running the New Teams. I then saved those commands into a .bat file that I can run daily to open the options window. The only issue is the warning from Windows Defender that I have to bypass every time to run the batch file. Thanks for the tip, this solution is an adequate workaround until New Teams includes the same option as classic Teams. Like other commenters have said, New Teams should have this functionality. New Teams should respect the device settings as defined by the system. New Teams should not reset to system default settings after reboot or coming back from sleep mode. Until then, this works out okay. Thanks for the tip!
