New Teams: Camera Settings Gone

Hello

Under Teams Classic - there used to be a number of camera settings under Settings > Devices > Camera such as Zoom/Pan/Tilt. Those settings no longer appear, to my knowledge, in New Teams. Am I missing something or did this feature not carry over?

Also, the webcam I am using, a Poly P5, has local software installed but those zoom/pan/tilt settings have never carried over to Teams (Classic or New).

Any advice? Did this feature disappear forever or am I missing where it is?

    The missing camera settings on "New" Teams (perhaps they should call it "Teams v -2.0?" is egregious. This was the single most helpful setting in Teams to tweak an image to be acceptable. Sounds like a pretty important feature on a COMMUNICATIONS / VIDEO SHARING app, doesn't it?

    The fact that this hasn't been addressed yet is ridiculous.

    MICROSOFT: PLEASE comment on this. It's the absolute VERY LEAST you could possibly to for your frustrated users.

    Microsoft, please bring back the entire set of video controls.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft downgraded its product when it "upgraded" and then removed the settings to change the camera settings (Zoom and the prior Skype are better). I work in a room with a window (light) in the background. The old Teams had video settings features that allowed me to adjust the video so I did not appear dark. The new Teams does not have these features. I am not sure why Microsoft would get rid of these important functions. I expect I am not the only person who has bright light in the back of them when using Teams for conference calls, etc..

    I find that the Logitune software works with other platforms (Zoom, Google Meet etc) but doesn't adjust my image on Teams. I was reliant on the 'camera settings' in Teams. Have had to go back to old version.

    Thank you for the tip. My webcam broke down, got a replacement with a larger view angle and it showed more than I wanted.

    I switched to the old teams app, adjusted the camera zoom (preview was good) and switched back to the new teams. The settings remained and zoom is applied in the new teams.

    I normally do not have to change the camerasettings, so I use the new app due to the multiple accounts option. I do hope MS adds the camera options in the new teams though.

    That was how the link was in my browser address, just copied it.

    The link was to show you the current features of the new teams and how the ones you mentioned are not there.
