New Teams: Camera Settings Gone

Hello

Under Teams Classic - there used to be a number of camera settings under Settings > Devices > Camera such as Zoom/Pan/Tilt. Those settings no longer appear, to my knowledge, in New Teams. Am I missing something or did this feature not carry over?

Also, the webcam I am using, a Poly P5, has local software installed but those zoom/pan/tilt settings have never carried over to Teams (Classic or New).

Any advice? Did this feature disappear forever or am I missing where it is?

Hi Frank. That works but only for the current session. When you come back for the next teams session, all the settings will have reverted to default. Seriously Microsoft. Get it together.

My settings remain past the current session even after a number of restarts.

We use Yealink UVC30 $k Cameras - and these can be set using the app - and once they are set they retain the settings, even if they are connected to a new PC (hotdesking), so thats the way we are managing them at the moment

I came across this issue with a Logitech Brio 4K camera. Like many others its a corporate machine and I am unable to install LogiTunes on it (without hassling a system admin).

I found a solution - open up teams classic then adjust camera to desired settings then switch over to new teams and settings are carried over for me.

Hope that helps and works for others

so you set the camera up in the logi app - and do not use Teams?

Yes, if you have admin permissions on the PC you can install Logi Tune, which is the official way of accessing current gen Logitech webcam controls.
