Hello, I have a problem logging out of my Microsoft Teams for Education account. With the new version, it's not possible to log out, and after logging out, it's still possible to access the account without logging in again since it remains remembered. I tried going to account settings to remove the account, but it doesn't appear in the settings or in the control panel under credential management. Thank you.

    Hello,

Since the account details is not available in your Windows credentials and you cannot see it when you check your profile from Teams app then you are no longer signed into the account.

However, to troubleshoot further, if you are on the classic Teams, please follow the steps below to clear Teams cache:

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon on the taskbar, and then select Quit. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R. In the Run dialog box, enter the following path, and then select OK: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams Delete all files and folders in the directory. Restart Teams.

Kindly refer to this article for more details: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache

    Best regards,

The only thing that worked for me was to open Teams in a different browser. (I used Private Mode just to be sure.)

Thank you so much! This was the only thing that worked for me. Bonus points for being a low-tech solution.

This only worked for me, after I've tried all above steps to no avail.

    Thank you.
