I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

Where were you able to get a copy of 1.5.00.31156. I cannot find it through a legitimate channel.

    Thanks.

These directions do not work. I have tried it and it did not fix anything. I am convinced the problem is with the latest version of Teams on Mac OS X. According to other folks, the solution is to grab an older copy. Since I use Teams for work, I'd like to download the older copy directly from Microsoft or an internal channel. No one has shared that yet. I am hoping someone will listen and realize that there really is a problem with the latest version of Teams on Mac OS X.

Adding another voice to this thread. This is a persistent issue for me. I actually think it's a combination of the new MacOS update (which I installed) and the new Teams update. Please Microsoft fix this issue! I prefer to use my Mac when working from home, and we use Teams for work.

    Thanks!

For me, the issue started with the latest update of MS Teams ("You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.33356. It was last updated on 16.12.22."). So it seems that the issue is independent of whether macOS Monterey or Ventura is installed - I still use macOS Monterey 12.6.2 (corporate policy doesn't allow an upgrade just yet) and the issue occurs there too.

It is really a very annoying bug that only occurs on the MS Teams app for Mac, not on any other applications using cameras. @microsoft: please fix this issue.

    Thanks a lot!
    Martin

I'm having exactly the same problem, also started 12/12/22. I'm a sign language interpreter so having the incredibly jittery incoming video means I can't use Teams for work currently.

I've done everything suggested: Uninstalled and reinstalled Teams, updated Teams, cleared the cache, deleted Teams folder (~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft), checked keychain for Microsoft teams Identities (didn't have it).

I've also reset the router, tried with internal and external cameras, checked Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration in MS Teams settings.

It's not bandwidth as I currently have 132.7 Mbps download speed, 22.4 Mbps upload, and the MS Network connectivity test tells me that "no one in nearby locations have better network connectivity to Microsoft 365 than your location"!

This is a straight forward bug experienced by Apple users when using Teams. Please acknowledge, escalate, and provide a fix.
