Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

Hello all! - Problem fixed with Preview version 1.6.00.4464 (Business Version)

    My machine:
    MacPro2019

    MacOS Ventura 13.2.1

    • AMD Radeon Pro W5700X 16 GB -> Not a graphics card proble
    • RAM 192GB ---> not a RAM problem

To make the long story long:

    1. Experienced same issue at the beginning of this year
    2. FORMATTED (whipped clean) the computer
    3. First program that I installed after MacOS was loaded was MS Teams and Boom! Microsoft Teams underperformed. <--- What a surprise... (sigh)
    4. Clean cache, re-installed like 20 times...
    5. Searched in ChatGTP (lol): "How is it called when a video stops and the continues because the graphics card might not be powerful enough"
    6. ChatGPT answered: "..this is typically referred to as "stuttering" or "video stuttering."
    7. Googled "MS TEAMS MacOS video stuttering".Bingo, found this thread. Thank you @Bebop17!
    8. Went to MS Teams Admin Center as I am the admin of the account
    9. Left navigation bar > Teams > Teams update Policies
    10. Added one policy> in Allow public preview > "Enabled". As soon as you create this policy there aren't any user selected. You can name this policy as you want. I named it: "Public Preview"
    11. Left navigation bar > Users > Manage users. <--- make sure that there's not a filter applied
    12. selected my user
    13. Clicked : "View Policies" > "Edit" <-- This is in front of "Assigned Policies"
    14. Changed the Update policy to "Public Preview"
    15. Bingo.
    16. Close the App and when you open, follow this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-early-access-to-new-teams-features-a6e387fe-1cad-4f90-ad78-1a311c77b36d
    17. It will take like 2 to 5 minutes to automatically update. PROBLEM FIXED!!

For anyone who needs the direct URL, here it is:

    https://statics.teams.cdn.office.net/production-osx/1.6.00.4464/Teams_osx.pkg
