Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

    1.6.00.364 has just been released and the problem still persists for me.

    I have to reinstall 1.5.00.28567 every single day and every single day it updates it back despite having auto updates disabled.

    Same here, jan 30 release doesnt resolve the issue.

    Is it just me who's noticed that Microsoft have stopped asking for feedback on Video quality after every (most) calls now?

    Coincidence?

    I've not been asked once since this issue began... it's almost like they know, and don't want to skew their KPI's whilst they solve the bug.
    Just wish they would acknowledge here (or somewhere) that they are actually fixing it.
    Owning the problem is a large step towards customer trust.
    Denying or pretending there is no problem, whilst actually quietly fixing it, is VERY bad for comms and brand trust.

    Just jumping in to say I've been having the same issues in the same timeframe as everyone else.

    2019 MacBook Pro, Intel i9

    Helloooooo, Microsoft - is anyone home? How about you hire back one of the people you just laid off to both RESPOND to this issue and FIX THE PROBLEM? I feel the anger is this group increasing - which is unfortunate that is what is going to take to get Microsoft's attention!!
