I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

I should have been excited to see:

"You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.1159. It was last updated on 2/10/23."

... but alas, the jittery video issues are even WORSE now. Is anyone from Microsoft listening to all these complaints / reported issues? We are going on two months... sixty days... since this issue was reported, and now the *update* has made Teams hard to use for work without feeling like I'm going to vomit.

Somebody/anybody from Microsoft... can you please focus on this and fix it ASAP?

Agreed... I am using Teams via Chrome due to the horrible video shake on the desktop app. No other Mac video conferencing app we use is experiencing what Teams video is doing. I really wish MS would get their Mac stuff sorted out. Between the lackluster support and the various missing features when compared to the Windows versions, it's annoying.

This has been my experience too. In fact, about every build since last fall has made the issue worse.

Out of desperation, I even tried installing Exploration Builds with the hope that MS would begin tracking toward some sort of improvement.

Alas, I've moved to running Teams in Edge. Definitely not an ideal experience, but at least the video is not headache-inducing.

I wish MS would get this figured out.

Teams app is updated on 13 Feb, version 1.6.00.1159.

It almost looks like the video choppiness is worse.

I have same problem on a MacbookAir and have found a work-around:

    1. Quit Teams
    2. (Install and) Open Chrome
    3. Go to https://teams.microsoft.com/

The video is great, and, oddly, running teams inside Chrome is, much faster than the teams-app. It takes only seconds to start a teams-call, and it doesn't flatten the battery as quickly.

Maybe it is all written in Javascript and the teams-app has a rather poor interpreter javascript implementation...
