Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

Just now: "You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.35057. It was last updated on 2023-01-05."

    Using the "preview channel".

Let's see if things are better at the next meeting. Stay tuned...

Same problem here, definitely started the day I received the 1.5.00.33356 update. Intel Mac. MacOS Monterey as well as Ventura. BTW, the problem disappears in "together mode" for me.
