Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

    Helloooooo, Microsoft - is anyone home? How about you hire back one of the people you just laid off to both RESPOND to this issue and FIX THE PROBLEM? I feel the anger is this group increasing - which is unfortunate that is what is going to take to get Microsoft's attention!!

    Exactly the same issue here, not sure of the exact start date, but mid December sounds about right.

    I've been having the same issue, and started noticing it in December. Incredibly distracting. Tried other suggested fixes such as uninstalling/reinstalling, opening other video feeds, etc. The only thing that worked for me was installing an older version (1.5.00.28567 found here https://microsoft-teams-for-mac.en.uptodown.com/mac/download/85833794). 

    For reference I am on a 2020 MacBook Pro, running macOS Monterey with a Intel Core i5 processor.

    Same issue for me, all video participants have jittery video with out-of-sequence video frames. macOS Monterey 12.6, MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019, 32GB RAM, 2.4GHz 8-core intel core i9. Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.33356.

    I have tried the rm -r deal, uninstall and reinstall of Teams, and this issue has persisted for weeks. Unfortunately this issue literally makes me nauseated and sick; much more so than playing Population One, a real time shooter game in the Quest 2 (Virtual Reality headset).

    Using Chrome at teams.microsoft.com completely resolves the issue, so I'm quite sure it has nothing to do with my hardware, which is way above average (32GB RAM + 8 core machine + a Poly Studio P15 camera). Same issue for at least one of my colleagues on a similar set up as well.

    Microsoft, please fix soon so we don't have to feel sick using your team productivity app. Would also be nice to have a legitimate site to download an older version from while this is being fixed.

    I have this exact same issue. Adding another voice here. Please fix this Microsoft, it is extremely distracting.

    I have reverted to 1.5.00.31156 and it does fix the issue.
