Teams on Mac video is instantly choppy

I'm getting extremely jittery video despite a good connection. It looks like every few frames, a single frame from a second ago is displayed, causing both my video and other participants videos to just jitter in a really distracting way. It can't be my connection because I have a good ping & good connection, and its happening to my video as well.

    Just piling on here, but I'm experiencing the exact same issue since 'upgrading' to 1.5.00.33356 on an iMac running OS 12.6 (21G115) w/Radeon Pro 580 8 GB GPU

    It's becoming incredibly frustrating as it's the primary videoconferencing solution for our enterprise.

    As many others have stated, I also couldn't find a 'trusted' source for downloading version 1.5.00.31156, so open to any recs on a clean source to resolve these issues.

    Same issue here with an Intel 16-inch, 2019 MacBook Pro. Since 12 December laggy and annoying. OS is Ventura version 13.1 (22C65). Downgrading helped for a second, auto update made sure my day was ruined again. I'm hosting a lot of meetings including training sessions, and the lag is driving me insane.

    Same issue here as well, and it is now impacting our day to day business. We had a call with a Microsoft engineer, and we were able to determine that Mac call quality issues began on 12/20, and have been rising ever since. Roughly 7% of all calls involving Macs are now having poor call quality, to the point where the meetings/calls are unmanageable.

    Can someone from Microsoft please dig deeper on this?

    This is happening to me now as well, and it's DRIVING ME INSANE!! I don't know if it was right after I upgraded to Mac OS Ventura 13.1 or not, but I did recently update.
