Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

I had this same issue on a new device where I solely had the New Teams installed. After I installed Classic Teams as well, the plug-in reappeared in Outlook for me despite only using New Teams. It seems that the plugin is still tied to Classic for whatever reason.

Agree with everyone else. The new app is garbage. Slower, buggier, worse UI.

The "new" (eg. worse) MS Teams purple chat notifications appear in the lower right area for AT MOST JUST 5 SECONDS now because the app does not use or respect Windows native notifications settings (the ability to keep a notification box for up to 5 minutes if so desired), AND there are NO OPTIONS anywhere to keep a Teams chat notification on the screen for a long period of time now. So don't take that sip of coffee or tea, because you will MISS important chat messages from your team. And good luck noticing that blinking "orange" taskbar icon because with Win-Doze it's basically just always orange anyway for some reason or another, and everyone just learns to IGNORE IT. AND, with previous Teams you could just click on the purple chat notification box and it would take you directly to the chat message. Now you get to hunt around! Every time! Astounding there is no outrage. AND, good luck trying to "send feedback" about Teams because the "Feedback Portal" for MS Teams already has 18,000+ complaints (twice as many as the next highest per product), so as soon as you post a valid complaint, it will be buried and will never bee seen or upvoted (due to thousands of people filing complaints every day). But if you can please up-vote my complaint about notifications being too brief:

I've also had issues with the new teams, first on the new teams, all my channels and chats disappeared, I could only talk to myself, haha.

Then over the weekend and into today I'd gone back to the new teams because I was able to reset it and my chats/teams were all back:

However today I noticed that I no longer got notification sounds on my teams app, either the mobile app or from the "New Teams". I switched back to "old teams", and lo and behold, notification sounds worked again.

Sticking with the old teams app, that works well, until the new one works.

Just as a side note, the windows interface overall is getting worse and worse. Having control panel in addition to 'settings' is annoying, it's tough to find anything anymore. What's going on over at Microsoft?
