Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    The new TEAMS sucks!! They got rid of the Contacts list which was a big help to see the status of people in my organization, plus it was in alphabetical order. The "Chat" screen is a jumbled mess and before I was able to hid chats to clean it up. The "People" tab isn't any help since I cannot get it to pin to my side bar. Right clicking on it does nothing. It disappears every time I click on a different app in the side bar. This new TEAMS is horrible and I wish you would bring the old features back as they were much better.

    It's absolute garbage. I actually wonder if you TRIED to make it worse?!

    New Teams keeps freezing my computer at least 3 to 4 times per day for almost 4 months. I have at least 8 meetings per day.

    Have to restart the PC every time. It is frustrating.

    Everything is updated. AMD 7800X3D iGPU 32 RAM.

    same same. it's dog-doo-doo. today it utterly refuses to attach/embed an image. like. nadda, just a grey square. "New Teams" is horrible, and so is "New Outlook" while I'm here.

    I seem to have a new problem with the new Teams, I only see 4 giant participants at a time and have a page number at the bottom to see others. I know I used to see many more participants at a time. The only 4 is just ridiculous and I cannot find a way to control how many are visible. Anybody know of a solution to this? Thanks.
