Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
Grossly unreliable product. Toss of a coin as to whether I can join a meeting I scheduled. Awful!

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

I have never seen such a horrible upgrade in a program ever. With classic, we could see in our organization who was green, red, or out, and cannot do this with new teams. with classic I could move myself from red to green with one click and now it takes three clicks. And notice a screen shot below, the new teams uses 2.5GB, and classic used 136MB. Just like the title of this thread, please just answer the question "why is the new teams so horrible". I mean, did microsoft cut a whole bunch of engineers or what? ... again, the story of our lives, heck with the user, and more power to the stock holders. Doesn't matter if it's big tech, big pharma, big corp america ... it's all the same.
Still unable to be optimized after 1 year?.
The new App is trash. Buggy, failing to install or can't install at all sometimes despite the app installer be present on the device.
The app is messing up with device microphones and device audio forcing to plug external ones to make it work.
Plus really explain me why making an app called Teams ( personal) and make another app Work and School that needs to be downloaded separately making on or the other unable to sign in with personal or work accounts.
i've 600 users, if Microsoft keep using paying customers as Beta testers next year i'm swapping for Apple .
The new Teams is absolutely not an improvement. It has caused problems with other programs. It has caused huge problems with my ability to scan documents because it's takes up an incredible amount of RAM.
Yes, and when I finally find the one I need and click on it, nothing happens. My view stays on the ONE team out of about 40 that didn't get hidden. After trying for 7 minutes today to access a document I needed, I finally copied a link to the team, pasted the link into a browser, then opted to open the link in Teams. That worked, but what used to be a single click is now a multi-step, annoying process! Why making clicking on something so difficult?
