Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

OK - after I couldn't use the "NEW" Teams for file downloads/uploads (which makes it a no-go for me) and switched back to Classic, after two months I figured I'd give it a go again after the bigger warnings showed up (not to mention I'm in QA and can't help but to test things). Well I barely lasted 24 hours before a crashed call and then when I needed to download my first file - I still can NOT download or upload files in the NEW teams. No way I'm the only one. So, I'm back to classic again and the "NEW" teams is still unusable for me. I'll have to have people email me all files I guess making productivity go down - the complete opposite of what Teams is supposed to provide. What a joke if they truly force us to "NEW" in a month.
I agree. I am a graphic designer looking for work.I lost a job opportunity . I landed and interview via Teams, which I have used for years. I had so many issues with Teams during that important interview : logging in to "new" Teams, "old" Teams, camera and audio issues (I know how to enable camera and mic on my laptop), sharing issues, message box issues, etc., The interview was a disaster. I lost credibility and it directly impacted my chances of getting the job. I didn't know about "new "Teams issues, and neither did the interviewer, so the perception was I didn't know what I was doing and unable to use a simple communications app that companies use everyday. Requesting Zoom for all future meetings - if I ever get a job. Not a word from MicroSoft.

I can’t stand the new teams—it’s incredibly unreliable and I have so many issues with the audio—on my 3rd issue today in as many meetings. Whatever has changed has made it terrible.
So it's a forced rollout of a beta? How do I opt out, the service is constantly breaking down; logging me out, logging me in under my personal account, using an insane amount of resources (I'm talking >20GB RAM), and is generally instable. How do I opt out of a beta program I never signed up for?
