Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    Really POOR!

Most of the nuances have been covered on this thread - but, to summarise:

    1. Contact info now needs 3 clicks and a new window to show the same darned information (why is this a benefit).
    2. Leave meeting drop down comes up with a pop-up so you cannot click on the option button - GRRRRR
    3. Doesnt get rid of the old Teams icon - nor can I remove it?
    4. Unable to expand user names in a Teams call to see their source
    5. When an image is sent in chat, it formats it in such a way you cannot click on that image to open raw.

What takes the biscuit is that every so often, I get a popup asking for Feedback on the App. I actually click on the link last time and gave some very constructive feedback. Next day, I got the same feedback popup. I am certain nobody as MSFT actually reads these!

Microsoft - do you listen? Hello - McFly - McFly....?

Quick question. Why does the Classic Teams have an option for Noise Suppression level and New Teams does not?

And forcing user to switch to that.

"Classic Teams will be unsupported starting July 1, 2024. You'll be switched to the new Teams at that time."

We cannot switch to new teams with the quantity of issues we find with it. We're going to have to switch to zoom or back to slack as a result. Microsoft needs to take this seriously. It simply is not stable. I share my screen and it works only some of the time. Often it crashes teams so badly that I have to kill it completely from the task manager, launch again (or pull up classic teams), rejoin the call and apologize to our client prospects for the flub which then is likely to recur if I use new teams again. We're losing credibility and it's having a direct impact to our business. Push the date to December 31st and work like hell to fix the critical issues or we will be part of a mass exodus in July to other platforms. From there it will start making sense for our org to reevaluate other Microsoft components in our enterprise.
