Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    Well whatever you do, do not use Dark Theme on New Teams because once you do, you cannot go back. Why? Because Settings becomes a black window with a white stripe down the left side. Nothing visible. Nothing clickable. If you switch to Working Teams and switch Themes, it does not carry over to New teams. Not if you switch between, not if you stop and start Teams, not if you reboot and restart. I have vision issues and use Dark Theme wherever possible, but wish I could turn it off on New Teams because Settings is not the only place you get a dark window instead of something useful.

    This line:

    "The new Teams app is designed to provide a faster, more reliable, and more consistent experience across different devices and platforms"

    It is literally significantly worse in all of those areas you provided, to the point where it almost doesn't work.

    Fully agree. New Teams simply doesn't work, so it doesn't help at all that it consumes less resources, they may as well just popped up a blank window with a single message: "Under Construction", and doing nothing else, that would be even faster and less confusing, at least we know it doesn't do anything bad and users won't waste time trying to get it to work.

    Everyday I experience basic functions that worked one day and not the next. Just now on a call, we cannot add participants which we were able to yesterday . If you shutdown teams and restart, rejoin, you can. This is so maddening .

    Teams is to Microsoft as the 737-max is to Boeing.
