Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    Came here to looking for support and I guess people are experiencing similar issues, here are my issues with teams on my Mac

    1. During the all I cant see who responded (accepted or declined the meeting)
    2. When I disconnect from dock, audio and video dont revert to default
    3. mac navbar doesnt display mute and other options
    4. glitchy and sound while joining and during calls is bad.
    5. Keeps changing to new teams and no way to use old teams.

    One way to force using old teams is to find the new teams and uninstall it. Hoping MS fixes these issues. Such a horrible experience.

    find the new teams and uninstall it. This should resolve your issue

    No longer works, forces to use new horrible version when pc is idle

    Agree and the background and the writing merge into other, it’s just horrible. Teams what are you doing? This is poor and very uncomfortable on the eyes

    Literally, the only difference I have seen in this awful new teams is that they made it less purple and moved my notification window towards the center of my screen which is obnoxious and unwanted. This is the dumbest update ever.

    With so many bugs, the so called "New Teams" should not be advertised as a free upgrade to a new stable version, but should stay as beta or even alpha version and offered only to limited audience of beta testers.

    Teams is used in millions of business meetings and it is embarrassing to have such basic application failures in the middle of presentation.

    Microsoft should keep its old best practices of promoting stable applications to mainstream users of their applications and keep unstable and super new versions to limited number of volunteers for beta testing.
