Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Seems to be a Edge viewer now. They changed it to impress investors, stop UI designer layoffs and steal more metadata to make more $. All fluff. Nothing about this was meant to help the paying customer. An E5 license is nothing compared to the AD revenue they can generate off snooping.

The EU slapped them pretty good for it and stopped ie from being imbedded. I wish the US would stand up for taxpayers and cut microsoft in 3 parts to end the monopoly.

When we were without 365 and had Skype, everyone was very good. Then Office 365 Came, Skype went away, and now it's always a problem with Teams, or Office 365 application crashes, and it never gets better.

Why are businesses using 365. It's terrible.

Need to go back to regular NON CLOUD BASED APPLICATIONS, THEY SUCK!

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

I concur with this feedback. I run a $350M company with 1,000 employees and the so-called "New Teams" experience has been horrible! Stability issues, connectivity issues, you name it! If MS does not fix this soon, we are moving away from O365 towards Google. This is a nightmare for IT support and reminds me of the old days when nobody trusted their data to run on MS SQL. Really need to get this fixed because this is just bad software release management.

All these issues people keep posting tells me that there was nothing wrong with original teams.

But clearly someone is trying to earn a financial reward by reinventing the wheel

They keep doing it with other microsoft product particularly Excel which worked fine and I knew where everything was (Well everything I needed) but no, they just can't leave things alone

I agree! It is really bad! I use Teams daily to share audio, and the new Teams cuts the volume by 50%, so you can nearly hear it with no way to change this. The old Teams does not do this! It will be a sad day when they end Teams Classic. I hope Microsoft looks at these posts and makes changes!
