Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    The new Teams is terrible.

I am having a large amount of issues with the "new" Teams.

Shown below are a few issues that I noticed within my first week of using the newly updated version of Teams.

    1. When I am typing a new message, it does not tell me whether I typed a word incorrectly. There is no red line to notify me.
    2. I tried to schedule a meeting yesterday. Noone in the meeting was able to join. We had to resort to a call instead.
    3. In a meeting, I tried to share my screen. I was only able to share my screen after numerous tries.
    4. If I past an image within the Teams message, it makes it extremely difficult to continue typing.
    5. Sometimes, when I am typing, the Teams message suddenly stops typing and I have to continually click on the text box to start typing again.

These are all of the issues that I noticed after my first week or two of using the "New" Teams.

Please stop changing Teams so much.

I appreciate your post, and I will switch back to the original Teams.

Yup. That Outlook plugin is def not available in the new Teams.
I now just use the god awful new Teams Calendar to schedule meetings.

No, it leaves the old version and renames it 'teams classic'. However, if you have Teams set to AutoStart or to launch automatically from links it will only open the NEW version.

    Hey Brandon,

I am wondering how your testing went. Did it seem to help to uninstall the older versions or no?

Thanks in advance for any insight!
