Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

This question can be expanded to just about every Microsoft product. The new UI design philosophy is terrible -- why? Instead of focusing on users, the focus seems to be on what the developers want to do and what the marketing team wants. Why are options being taken away from users? Why do the interfaces keep reverting back to what the developers decided they want instead of what the user specifically configured? Why is screen real-estate being eaten up by non-useful content? Why are features that have been around for years being stripped out?
I really hate seeing "new user experience" in Microsoft products these days -- knowing that I'm going to be forced into this "new experience". Not because I dislike change, but because I've found that almost every "new experience" Microsoft pushes out on us is a bad experience.
Why?
Ahahaha, that was good one.
Even the idea of having a "submit" button at the bottom of this reply screen is nauseating. Most forums have "send". "Submit" because you must be submissive to Microsoft. The company with the whips, chains and slavery.
My windows update yesterday killed my Teams. I was no longer the convener of my own meetings. I missed one. Very embarrassing in front of my client. I had to reschedule all future meetings because I was no longer the organiser. Dreadful product. Dreadful company. Microsoft takes no responsibility at all. I now prefer to use Zoom.
