Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

    We don't care how it's "designed" - we care about how it performs. You've released buggy software - again. You really shouldn't be able to do this without some sort of retribution. How about you don't release a new "version" until you fix ALL THE BUGS?

    I fully agree. I had to give a national lesson on AI (!) and was not able to share my power point presentation! Very embarrassing. Today it is impossible to login on my agenda, so not possible to join a scheduled meeting. All these problems are on my MacBook, however my iPad works... but that is not so convenient for making notes at the same time. And I want only to carry one device, not been loaded with all my devices in the hope that at least one will do the job. It is a disgrace that a beta version is released as 'new' without debugging.

    We have had numerous issues with New Teams including, dropped calls on transfers, dropped calls picking a call up from hold, not being able to search queues that the user has access to. The new Teams is really a piece of **** compared to the 'Classic Teams'. To make matters worse, Microsoft is prompting that starting July 1, 2024, we won't have a choice and we MUST move to New Teams.

    This New Teams is NOT ready to be deployed. There are too many bugs, too many times that it just won't work.

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MICROSOFT, DO NOT FORCE USERS TO NEW TEAMS!

    If you want to work out the bugs, then release it again, I think THAT is a much better plan.

    The software is NOT ready for release.

    So it's a forced rollout of a beta? How do I opt out, the service is constantly breaking down; logging me out, logging me in under my personal account, using an insane amount of resources (I'm talking >20GB RAM), and is generally instable. How do I opt out of a beta program I never signed up for?
