Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

This new Teams app is really not great.

Firstly the contacts and groups are now only shows if you click on People, even then there is no down arrow where you could see the contacts in that group you set, but shows up in the middle of the screen.

Secondly, making calls, you have to click on the down arrow to choose camera or audio call - waste of time

Then you cannot see anymore if people are online, busy, away, do not disturb, etc. so you will be making calls to people who are offline, or do not disturb, which wasting your time also.

Then you cannot see working hours for employees shown when you click on them as contact.

Why did you have to change old Teams to this rubbish version? I expected more from Microsoft. Why could not leave contacts and groups on the left hand side for easier view? Or why we cant see status of employees which is extremely important for businesses.

Can you please update the new interface to reflect above if possible. Thanks,

    Its extremely poor.

I have an office of people that have had problems, from dropping calls webcams not working intermittent crashing to both instances of teams running at once to cause complications. this is before the poorer UI, the constant harassment to switch when you use teams 'classic' and the the resource drain.

If Microsoft wants to replace teams replace it don't let TWO instances run and give us the illusion of choice. (hilariously as i type this new teams has forced itself open with no prompt from myself)

I can only assume that new teams collects more data for Microsoft because there has been no benefit from using the new version of teams for users.

With so many bugs, the so called "New Teams" should not be advertised as a free upgrade to a new stable version, but should stay as beta or even alpha version and offered only to limited audience of beta testers.

Teams is used in millions of business meetings and it is embarrassing to have such basic application failures in the middle of presentation.

Microsoft should keep its old best practices of promoting stable applications to mainstream users of their applications and keep unstable and super new versions to limited number of volunteers for beta testing.

I totally agree, the new team keeps crashing when trying to adjust the device settings, if I switch to classic team then it works fine, however Microsoft force it to switch back to the NEW HORRIBLE TEAMS... then you get support people to try to make you do many wasting time troubleshooting processes ...because it is so hard to accept the NEW TEAMS has so many glitches that a business cannot afford the time when in a business conference…last time we just had to jump to free Zoom to complete our meeting.
