Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

this is MF bullcrap. I am sick and tired of you force pushing updates on apps and breaking my systems. Can you please NOT do that anymore and let admins administrate systems. Your bloatware is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
Guys, this update has broken 30-40 of our systems. Beware, Microsoft is causing you tons and tons of man hours and they have no right to. It is coming if it keeps happening. I guarantee it. Just wait, in 2025 things will shape up that you may be held accountable for your free reign infringement on customer purchased products and services. Out of line, this method of force pushing is out of line and ethics.
You feel "New teams horrible" because you have not seen its newest version, it is not the worst but worse than previous. As it crashed, old version renamed to "Classic", yet MS will push you to use newest version, or else it will prove the team makes bushit.
Till today, 02/27/24, my new version (work and school) has crashed more than once, reported I need more disk space (I use VM with dynamic space and used 30% of the size), along with use of other MS tools I saw my vscode crashed(that's normal indeed), git folder lost most subfolders.
Features: 1)cursor not work properly if you scroll or page up/down 2)no way to copy all records - this function removed long time ago? 3) if you select and tried to right click to copy - flying, 4)if you c&p and want to get down - you need to relocate 5)no drag/pull any more (function might still be there just more complex to use).
MS not able to make very basic functions well: proper cursor. On powershell(ultra complex i/f with poor functionality compared with bash, should renamed to poorshell), you will find the cursor flying and poor historical record. One function can be implemented as multiple commands inconsistent by multiple teams and non is good enough.
I am absolutely agree with you. My issue with Team new version is that when using sharing screen feature for presentations, the Menu bar at the top keep overlapping the content behind it. For example, I was unable to select the Excel because Menu bar keep automatically appearing. I had to disappear, which was really unproductive.
When I use Ctrl + F to search the search indexer on my local machine goes crazy. It did not behave this way in "classic". The general slowness I have seen from updates that prioritize "cloud". When you try to load My Computer/main explorer.exe folder viewer it will 1st waste your time trying to connect to an online resource then it loads the local resources you were trying to get to. They packaged that winner of an idea pretty close to the New Teams.
