ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

This is actually working.
Thank you. This was a helpful work around.
Still happening every other week or so... killing teams and restarting it solves the issue, but I don't always immediately remember the "fix" So I keep coming to this thread every now and then. I'm using a Lenovo thinkpad P51 laptop and this happens with every keyboard I tried so far. arrow keys work just fine in any app, even in the search bar but not on the conversation window. Guess I'll just stick to restarting teams when it happens.
Restarting teams app works for me but don't know what triggers it...
Scroll lock does not seem to have any impact. The only thing that seems to help is disabling the narrator (to turn Narrator off, press the Windows, Control, and Enter keys simultaneously (Win+CTRL+Enter). )
