Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

I have the same problem and did a search, then realized it's been there for more than half a year!

I am using Mac OS Catalina.

For me the part with deleting the cache worked.

It is a little bit easier explained here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/cursor-key-does-not-work-on-teams-chat/afd8e697-ce85-4a47-b5de-ae7369de288f

At least I did it yesterday and I still can use the curser keys.

So hopefully it is a permanent fix. (it felt a little bit spooky deleting the content of the folder)

Same issue for me, DELL Latitude E7470 Laptop, Windows 10.

Quitting Teams and restarting the app worked for me. This is definetly a bug. Please, fix it.

I don't know if anyone else has reported this, but it happens on Mac OS too. It started happening to me after I upgraded to Monterey.
