Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

    @Microsoft

So what was it? Was it because we were using a Laptop or Desktop? Was it a wireless Keyboard issue? Low batteries? Did the model number of the Dell machine get determined and used in some way to resolve this matter?

Same problem here. Initially I thought that i hit some sort a hot key (Scroll lock?) but seems not to be the case.

Dell Laptop + Windows 10 Pro + External Logitech K860 Keyboard.

    SergioA2020,

I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried everything on your list at one point or another. I use a Logitech external keyboard but the issue persists no matter the keyboard.

Hummelmose's work around seems to be the best, and least inconvenient, but I would still like a more permanent solution.

    Here are my pc specs/details:

    HP EliteBook 845 G7

    Build date 07/15/2021

    AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U

    16G of ram

    Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit
