Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

I think I found a clue today : After also experiencing the same symptom as described over and over and after many MS Teams apps restart. Here is what I found :

This symptom seem to be contextual. when we do upper arrow the go back edit previous message, in some cases it seem to keep in memory that we are still in that context even if we are back in typing new message section.

here step I did to find back left and right arrow normal behavior

    1. clear the "New message" section
    2. click upper arrow to go inside previous message in edit mode.
    3. click ESC key, to exit and go back to "New message" section

This seem to have clear the cache and I did found back my left and arrow keys, within the "New Message" section.

Glad you found a workaround in Windows. However, the issue is also found in macOS - so the PrintScr is just a piece of the puzzle.

Hi Sergio, thanks for the solutions. Restarting the app and if that fails restarting my computer works, but as others said can be quite time consuming especially when it happens multiple times a day. If the issue could be addressed permanently through an update at some point, it'd be much appreciated. I've noticed it happens with my Logitech k860 on multiple Windows 10 Pro machines; but not with keyboards such as the Surface Pro Type Cover. And only occurs with Microsoft Teams.
