I had to give up trying to be wireless and switch back to an old USB headset as the technology is just not there yet it seems.
With Apple AirPods Pro on Teams everyone else was deafening and couldn't be turned down and no-one could hear me as my voice was very muffled so they were useless. Aside from that they wouldn't stay in my ears even with the biggest tips/ends fitted whilst
just sitting at my desk. Aside from falling out they worked and sounded great with Apple devices (of course).
Before that I tried Galaxy Earbuds Plus but they they constantly dropped the connection or had loads of interference making it very hard to hear the other party and most of the time I had to disconnect and reconnect before they would work so couldn't answer
calls in time but I don't think this problem was related to Teams (like with Apple) and more just dodgy hardware (was even bad on an Android phone). Shame as they fitted my ears too!
Maybe Apple and Microsoft will find a way for this to work in a future version one day once we are all back to work and no longer need it. Even when they develop something on Teams it seems to take months to roll it out for some inexplicable reason. Celebrities
on TV seem to always use Apple Airpods too so wonder how they get them working but think most may be using Zoom.
