Hey Rudi, do you know if this fix is also being pushed to the WH6x headsets, which use very similar hardware/firmware and suffer the same problems?

Hello,
I recently deployed some Yealink MP50 USB phone devices to my agency users who are on Teams Voice. For some, the MP50 works perfectly: plug and play and away we go.
Unfortunately, for most users they can't start, answer, or end calls but the pause/resume and mute/unmute work fine during a call.
I have worked with Yealink support through a lot of troubleshooting, but unfortunately have not resolved the issue. I will give a rundown of the troubleshooting.
Here is a rundown of some extensive process of elimination troubleshooting I did, with users A and B
To me, this eliminates the possibility of the device, the PC, the Teams accounts, and the Domain account from being the issue and just leaves it to being an issue with the local Windows profile on the PC.
I hope someone can provide some other troubleshooting options. I may have to look at alternatives, but what from I've seen it sounds like most other phones run Teams as a separate instance, creating several other drawbacks, or else have to be dumbed down to operate similar to the MP50 which makes them a waste of money.
Thanks

Case #:32097582
Deleting LYNC registry entries does not work. Don't waste your time... (Only referenced to Yealink MP50 USB).
PS. There might be cases that it works but then it will stop working.
You might see different results, but I did try to purge Lync/S4B several times with no success and have tried this on a new machine with the same results.
Hi Everyone,
Some feedback regarding the Yealink MP50 USB phone if you are unable to dial from the physical phone's dial pad or touch screen dialing pad. Yealink and Microsoft is now in communication with each other regarding the firmware and they are aware of this issue. We hope that this will be rectified soon. Only work around for now is to use the Teams application on the PC to make calls.
Do you have any Ticket or Case Number information from Microsoft or Yealink? We've also run into this issue.
I've found installing Yealink USB connect restores the functionality of picking up the handset to answer, though dialing from the Yealink still doesn't work. Haven't tried nuking the registry of Lync references but might try that on a test machine.
Hi Adam,
You are welcome, glad the info was helpful. On another note, we received confirmation that they planning to release only on 22 August but we are hoping for earlier and that all will go according to plan. Good luck with your deployment, we have about 5000+ MP50's waiting for this fix.
