Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Moved from Unknown/other  / Windows 10  / Unknown/other

Hi BenBo_2020,

Thanks for post your question in our forum, I have moved your thread to the correct category “Office 365 for admins  / Microsoft Teams  / Office 365 for business”, if you have any other questions when using Teams in the future, welcome to post a new thread in our forum.

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

Hope above information helps. Please feel free to share the result with us or let me know if you need further suggestions, I'll happy to continue to help you.

Best regards,

Jennifer

    Hi folks,

We also have the same problem.  Why not go vote on this issue, to get Microsoft's attention on user voice?  I saw the complaints here (which told me it is a known issue) and then checked user voice and found only about 20 votes to fix it.  I added my vote and also requested my colleague who asked me about it to vote.  Definitely add your vote there too.

I agree with the other posters.  The control panel hides a lot of information at the bottom of the screen.

Microsoft, please add the ability to hide the control panel.

    Hi Lynette,

My apologies. Although I feel you posted in the hopes that Microsoft would make a product change addressing this issue, communications from them in this thread seem to now be minimal. So I was jesting in the hopes they might respond to that as these complaints seem to be falling on deaf ears.

If it's that frustrating, I would suggest escalating the request with them or finding another meeting tool.

I hope your day gets better as well.
