Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    My cursor has been off of the screen for 25 minutes... the task bar is still there.  Blocking text in the middle of the screen.  Please make it so we can move this or minimize it!

    Hi Jennifer,

    I have the same problem and your solution does exactly what you described, but this however doesn't solve my problem.

    So when I am in an online meeting and taking notes, I am moving back and forth between Teams and Word and whenever I return to Teams the bar appears again. I have to double click on the screen to have it disappear again, or wait as you just said but it's really frustrating.

    Usually the bar is covering up part of a presentation or excel that is being shared so I can't take notes or screenshots properly because in some cases the most crucial infos are being covered by the bar.

    Could you raise this issue to the developers so that theis bar could be even on the left or right side of the screen where there is a bit of black gap? I wouldn't mind if the bar keeps popping up on either side, where it does not hide any info away from me.

    I very much doubt that there is at least 1 programmer at Microsoft, who both knows the issue _and_ is allowed to remove this software bug.
