Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    I would like to add my request for a fix to this issue.  This is a problem with every meeting I have held or attended - not moving my mouse for a few minutes is not a reasonable solution.  There needs to be a way to minimize the task bar.

    Jennifer - your recommended action works, but the second you move your mouse, the task bar reappears. Like the person above mentioned, if you are trying to take a screen grab with snipping tool, you can't because the control settings pop back up. How do you minimize permanently or move it? I can't even move mine to the side or bottom of my screen.

    Hi Jennifer,

    No matter what tool I use the control/task bar keeps popping up from time to time and I have to click off the Teams window each time to get it to go away again. The Snipping Tool works to a degree for a couple screenshots here or there, but not for the hundreds we need to take. I need to be able to take screenshots faster than that. Plus, the Snipping Tool doesn't have all the features I need. We simply need a function that hides that bar through the duration of a call. Thanks for your help but we'll probably have to use a different product other than Teams for our client conference calls.

    Hi Ben,

    I don't work for Microsoft and not sure if this has been suggested: Snipping Tool and/or Snip & Sketch have a delay functionality where you can take a screenshot in 3 seconds or so. In the 3 sec duration, you can go to the screen you will be screenshotting and do the necessary changes. Once the timer ends, it freezes the screen and you can then take a screenshot of what's currently on the screen.
