Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Hi BenBo_2020,

Thanks for post your question in our forum, I have moved your thread to the correct category “Office 365 for admins  / Microsoft Teams  / Office 365 for business”, if you have any other questions when using Teams in the future, welcome to post a new thread in our forum.

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

Hope above information helps. Please feel free to share the result with us or let me know if you need further suggestions, I'll happy to continue to help you.

Best regards,

Jennifer

Thank you, Earl!!!  While it doesn't solve the problem, it is a huge step to temporarily removing the offending bar from obscuring key content I'm trying to view.

I also find the control  bar very frustrating to be in the middle of the presentation image. I would even accept if it was on the right side vertical position off the viewing screen.

I am often times using multiple applications while I am on a team call and if I tough my mouse the control bar pops up and I miss critical content in the presentation. please let us know a fix ASAP.

Maybe it's because I'm recording, but it never minimizes even if I move my cursor to another screen altogether.

I, too, would like to see a way to minimize the MS Teams toolbar.  It is annoying when someone shares their screen and I can't see all of the document.  As mentioned in other posts, the toolbar does not always disappear when the curser is off the Teams pane.
